Adam Turner’s “3D Masters” Machine
This weekend has really been shit in terms of weather, if I didn’t know any better I would say there’s a force 5 hurricane on the way here in England. Never the less I decided to venture down to the EMHC field and see if I could nail an engine problem on an off day. Turn’s out Adam Turner and the usual suspects were down there practicing for the 3D Masters. Adam is flying the Kasama Srimok 90, which I was able to have a good look at for the first time. One word springs to mind, “innovation”, there is a serious amount of R & D that has gone into this model, things that caught my eye were:
- complete engine isolation from the engine block to the clutch stack
- linear bearing for the tail push rod
- release mechanism for the swash quide
- turn buckle push rods everywhere
- height and general size of the heli (looks like a 50)
I got a short moment to see Adam’s Srimok fly and lets just say that sucker climbs like a mo-fo!
Good luck Adam for next weekend in Spain
